“One’s assessment of an object must be free and unhampered, with nothing between you and the object. You must look directly at it. To decide that a particular piece must be valuable because it has a particular [artist’s signature] seal is weak and demeaning. Your assessment only gains meaning when you look at the object directly, free and unfettered.”

Ok, let’s talk the face app! So, I know people are on the fence with this app, you seem to love it or hate it..I have to say, I love it, I really do. I know I have covered this in previous posts but here we go again.

So designers and creators have come a long way in just a short few years in terms of what we can do and for that I am so thankful for it. However, when we talk about smiles and how it alters the cheek bones and eyes, we haven’t got that fair in SL just yet. Sooo when I want to convey the real emotion behind a smile, yes, rather than have resting bitch face or a smile that makes my lips look weird, I choose the face app. I really don’t like the idea that others wont favour or appreciate the rest of the work that goes into the rest of the picture just because someone choose to use the smile app, and maybe I need to spend longer playing with facial expressions to perfect the smile in world. But for now, I would rather step out of the crowd and make my photos seem as life like as possible than follow the crowd just to get likes.

This is not a blog post, but rather a post with my twin, the blonde to my brunette…

Minimal for the back ground, Space Cadet for the pose :), the bags are from Tetra and hair is stealthic and truth.
